Wednesday at ECR
Oct. 16th, 2003 10:30 amWe got down to Palo Alto around 6pm. Steve stopped by McDonalds first so that I could get something to eat before class. Steve dropped me off at St. Andrews before he headed off to have dinner with Ann. I sat outside and ate my grilled caesar salad. It was actually pretty good.
At the 6:30pm A2 review, we started with 4 dancers, then we had enough for one square. After a bit longer, we had two full squares. We maintained two squares for the A2 class from 7-8pm. Did fine in class, but caused some laughs in my square when I temporarily thought my partner and I were part of the other square. Oops! The class learned some "all 8" calls. Rich reviewed them in the kitchen later, and he did a good job in explaining the "adjust" part of the call. I could never find a written example of that "adjusting." I always just grabbed my cock to adjust, LOL.
Don asked me if I'd be going to the C1 class. He was very encouraging, as was Eric. Don said they'd take the C1 class for sure, but later Eric said they weren't sure. LOL. Bet they'll be there. They also said that Michael M. wouldn't take C1 while Jim was still here, but now that Jim is away, hopefully they'll get him to take the class, too. With Roz & Tom taking the class, it should be a fun one.
Steve's back was bothering him, so I drove home. Parking karma was good and found a close spot. I went to bed early and dreamed about All Eight Quarter In.
