Reading today's newspaper before work got me riled right away.

First, there was the article about Halliburton overcharging the U.S. Army for gas in Iraq. They're billing the Army between $1.62 and $1.70 per gallon, while Iraqis are charged between 4 cents and 15 cents at the pump for gasoline.

Next was the article aboutOrwellian strategy to "sell the war." It mentions identical "upbeat" letters to the editor in separate newspapers written "by soldiers" in Iraq. Turns out that the Army wrote the letters, not the soldiers. It also shows Bush AGAIN linking 9/11 with the war in Iraq.

The only bright spot was seeing that two-thirds of voters agree that the recall rules should be changed so it's not so easy.
