He drilled me and filled both my cavities

fuzzygrufand then I went to the dentist this afternoon.
I took a couple of Vicodin around 1:30pm today. Then I went to Starbears for a coffee. I left around 2:10pm for my 3pm appointment downtown at Howard & Main. I wasn't sure how long it would take me to hobble via Muni, but it only took me about 30 minutes. Before the final hobble to the dentist, I sat in the courtyard near there and enjoyed this gorgeous 80-degree weather.
The dentist wasn't too bad. While waiting for the novacaine (or whatever it is these days) to kick in, I sat and watched the slideshow screensaver on the adjacent monitor. Looks like pics from his trip to Africa. I thought it was pretty neat that one of the pics showed him holding hands with his bf.
The procedure wasn't too bad. The Vicodin certainly helped.
Afterwards, he said to just be careful for 2 hours to make sure I didn't bite myself. He said that after that, I could do anything. Anything. I'm not sure that he needed to add that second "anything," but I'll take it.
