printer problem
Sep. 19th, 2007 01:55 pmI have a square dance gig tonight. I connected Steve's printer to print documents as usual. It printed some, but then the low-ink light started to flash, and it won't print anything. Steve's in Europe, so I can't ask him.
I changed the inkjet cartridge, but the light still flashes, and it won't print. Opening the properties for the printer, there is no "align cartridge" or anything. I've turned off the printer. I've turned off the computer. I just get the angry red flashing light.
Any ideas? It's a HP Desket 970Cse. I haven't found help on Google or hp.com.

If you have another cartridge, that might be worth trying too in case you have a defective one.
