Hair Today, Gone Tomorrow

I've been pretty busy the past week. I neglected to get a haircut. I called and stopped by several barbers today. No openings.

Now I'll have "long" hair for my trip to Phoenix tomorrow for the fucking 110 temps. I found a barber listed near my hotel, so that should be one of my first things I do after checking in. I doubt that I can get a flattop. Maybe I'll go for a crewcut. That'll probably look dumb on me, but it'll be nice and cool for the heat.

I should have thought of the heat before I gained the 15-20 pounds after my father died. Of course, I didn't mean to gain, but it's gonna suck worse in the heat. I'm hoping the weekend will kickstart my diet again. Most of the weekend will be spent square dancing, nowhere near a fridge. That's a good thing.

It's one thing for my bf to make jokes about my weight. I'm used to that. This week I had a fb poke fun at it. I guess someone did tell me before that fb's were for fun-poking.
