Dinner at Dangermond's

fuzzygrufWe relaxed for about 30 minutes after we unloaded Steve's car. Then it was time to get ready for dinner at Jeff's. Mike came over around 4:45pm. We chatted for a bit, then drove up to the ever-foggy Diamond Heights.
Jeff's unit number begins with a 3, so we naturally went to the 3rd floor. Nope. It's on the 2nd floor. Of course. What was I thinking?
Jeff was busily cooking dinner. Within a couple minutes, Dave & Richard showed up. Jeff's place is nice, with lots of color. Dave discussed badges for IBR. Looks like he's come up with something a LOT better than what Glover's used the past couple of years. About time someone good did them.
Dinner was good. Jeff made some really tasty jalapeno roast pork. He even went out of his way to provide stuff I could eat on Atkins, including blackberries for dessert. I hate when people make a fuss for me, but isn't it sweet? Ok, I do like it.
Dinner conversation was fun. We discussed blogs at one point. As usual, someone asked about the word "blog." I explained it derived from "web log." Pay me a $1 and I'll tell you who asked, "But where's the 'B' in 'web'?" I got to know more about these folks at dinner, so that was great. Even if it involved finding out that one of 'em had a date with Junior last year. Then again, who hasn't?
Got home and Steve unpacked for awhile. He then watched an episode of The Sopranos that he had taped. I haven't got into watching that show, so I watched some TV in the bedroom. Monday night TV sucks.
