Monday stuff

fuzzygrufMy internet connection was just horrendous this morning. Tonight it's back up and working with speeds of 2920 down / 241 up. This morning the speed was 13 down / 32 up. They kept me off the net most of the day.
I did some laundry and finally got around to seeing SORDID LIVES. My friend Danny has been on my case to see this for the past few years. I always forget. Everyone says I'd like it.![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
otterpop58 mentioned it last week, so that prompted me to finally get it. I enjoyed it, but it wasn't anything I was expecting. I do love white trash humor, but this wasn't as uplifting as Drop Dead Gorgeous. (I could watch that movie 100 times and still laugh.)
I went to Starbears and studied some C3A calls. Not too many more are left on the list. Just a zillion different ways left to "experience" the calls. It's definitely gonna take awhile. Yesterday the dreaded C3B was mentioned. Egads, C3A alone seems like it will take forever to become proficient. But we should be in better shape with C3A before convention than we were last year with C2, since the C2 class didn't start until January. If I'm able to actually dance C3A at convention, perhaps C3B might be something to pursue. I sincerely doubt that I'll be able to dance C3A proficiently by convention.
I went down to TopCats with Larry & Don tonight. The class-level C3A tip was okay. Don & Larry dropped from the C3A class, but they are learning the definitions, and John is having them dance. That makes the floor-level not too tough. Good reinforcement for me, anyhow.
The C2 dancing tonight was okay. I'm getting really comfortable with it. Most of my squares were pretty good. It's not that important that I get the C2 floortime nowadays, but it was nice to go down and see some people I hadn't seen in a month. There are some really fun people there.
