Sunday dancing with Andy Shore
Aug. 2nd, 2004 11:18 amNate came over yesterday for a bit and we played through some Wicked and tick tick Boom. Then we went to lunch at Firewood. Why do I bother ordering salmon, when I know that it won't come close to being as good as Steve's?
After a stop at Starbears, we headed to Friends School for an afternoon of square dancing with Andy shore. Andy called A2 from 2-4pm and then C1 from 4-6pm. We ended up having a couple of squares for both sessions. About the half the people attended both. Two of the funner straight couples from my C1 class showed up to dance. Andy had some great choreo, as usual. Joy was there for the A2 portion, so Andy found quite a bit of stuff to workshop, LOL. For C1, he did some t-boned galaxies again. I find them fascinating, but like last time, it ended up breaking down the squares. Everyone seemed to have a LOT of fun. Andy is sure gonna be missed around here.
After dancing, I went to the Lone Star around 7pm. No line. Whew. Decent crowd inside. I ran into Raul, which was a pleasant surprise. I haven't seen him for awhile, but I had received a great email from him just last week. Got to see some pleasant nakedness on the back patio. A couple musclebears were dropping trou. The scenery in San Francisco is fantastic. I love my City.
