Muni can be frustrating, but its network does allow me to live in San Francisco without a car.
Instead of dealing with the stress of crowded buses and unreliable schedules, I've been walking to/from work for the last couple of months. It's a hilly, 2+ mile walk each direction, but I'm enjoying it. The cool, non-rainy SF weather is perfect for walking.
July was my first month in SF where I didn't buy a monthly Muni pass. Instead, I ended up paying only $6 for Muni rides for the entire month.
Starting a week from Monday, I'm gonna need to take Muni to/from school a couple times a week. I'm not sure if I'm dreading that more than the thought of Anatomy classes.
