crockpot chicken

Came home this evening to a house wafting of chicken and Tilex. My belly is full, and the shower is clean.

I seasoned the chicken and put it in the fridge overnight. I cut a lemon and put the halves inside the chicken cavity this morning before putting it in the crockpot on top of a chopped onion. I added no liquid. Cooked for about 10 hours on low.

The lemon added some great taste. And the rind was edible. I'm glad I didn't mix it up with the Tilex.

10-year anniversary

This week will mark my 10th year anniversary living in San Francisco. Moving from Kansas City to SF was the best move in my life.

I wasn't expecting anniversary gifts, but today at Starbears Bart gave me wood. Scandalous, right? Wood is for the SIXTH anniversary, and tin is for year 10. Faux pas or not, it's the thought that counts. I love my City.
