A. Usually between 5am-6am on Friday morning right before posting.

Starbears robbed

Chatting outside of Starbears after work today, a police car with lights flashing pulled up. Apparently they were just robbed. I heard that a muzzle of a gun was seen. Turns out that the guy had robbed Jamba Juice around the corner just moments before.

Shoshona got in the cop car and drove around the neighborhood looking for the guy, but no luck. I guess they got a good picture of the guy on the surveillance camera. White guy with beard and cap. At Starbears. Go figure.

Coupla burglers

We were watching TiVo'd Project Runway tonight, and I heard some shrieking out back. Paused PR, grabbed a flashlight, and looked out the den window. There were two raccoons outside. One seemed intrigued by the flashlight. They certainly weren't scared.

I haven't seen raccoons out back in a long time, although I suspected activity. One day we had lots of ripe lemons on the tree, and the next day none. The upstairs neighbor wondered if we had picked 'em all. Would raccoons take lemons?
