Had a very relaxing 4th. I went to Starbears and looked over the New England map for our fall trip. Castro Village was pretty deserted.
Steve arrived, then we walked to Chow on Church for lunch. Lamburger for him, hamburger for me. Stopped at the gay Safeway for some Tonkatsu sauce and blueberries.
Walked back to Starbears for awhile. The village was still deserted. Saturday July 4th is the wrong holiday to be unpopular in this City. A fairly sunny Saturday afternoon, and we had the bench to ourselves.
Came home, and
double_ohsteven made chicken katsu with coconut rice and a salad for dinner. Deliciously patriotic. I contemplated going out afterwards, but the thought of a still-empty village kept me in for the night.
