Roosevelt's Corollary
Feb. 4th, 2009 06:14 amWe weren't feeling much better last night, but we both had class. Steve is still feeling worse than me, so I lugged books for both our classes. It's interesting that I'm doing a book review where a mule is a prominent symbol.
Last night was my first quiz for history. We had a choice of writing a couple paragraphs about muckrakers or about Roosevelt's Corollary. Knowing some people in the Gay Men's Chorus, I wrote about Roosevelt's Choral Larry, the balding bearded baritone. We'll see how that works out.
The class was not very talkative last night, which kind of threw the teacher for a loop. I was just trying to sit there and not get sick. We got out at 8:45pm. I sat on the floor outside Steve's classroom reading until his class ended at 9:30pm. We made some good bus connections, then home to bed.
I'm still not feeling super this morning, but it's off to work. Woohoo!
