Drowsy truffles
Aug. 9th, 2008 10:26 pmSteve took me to see "The Drowsy Chaperone" tonight.
Before the show, the man in the row ahead of us opened a box of a few dozen truffles and passed them to us to pass around. Turns out it was Chef Nathan Schmidt, brother of Joseph Schmidt. He said that his brother gives him 60-70 boxes of chocolates every year.
The show was entertaining enough. Pretty damned fluffy, but nice and short. Georgia Engel was looking good. We sat fairly close, and on stage she didn't look like she had aged much since I last saw her in Cinderella about ten years ago.
