Feb. 5th, 2008 02:44 pmI voted. A couple weeks ago. I'm absent-minded.
I worked on homework most of Sunday. By afternoon, I had developed a fever. I took some acetaminophen and went to bed early. I woke up about 2:30am and took some more Tylenol. The fever ended up going away, but then I couldn't fall asleep again.
Yesterday I went to the CCSF library for a couple extra-credit research workshops. Most of the time was spent on things like how to search using Google and how to evaluate websites like fuzzygruf.livejournal.com to detect that it's bullshit. Nothing new there. I did learn some some additional research tools, so at least I got something out of it besides extra credit.
Last evening, I went back to CCSF and got my laptop set up for Wi-Fi on campus. I had dinner at the cafeteria, which wasn't bad (ginger-steam fish, rice, bok choy). My speech class went fine. The instructor has a lot of energy, and I like that a lot. We listened to the rest of the storytelling speeches from classmates. One (straight) guy talked about getting hit on in the sauna. He left the sauna, but he later saw the same guy holding a water hose. It turned out not to be a water hose. Maybe I should give my next speech on how to cruise in the locker room.
