Conceptual Physics Telecourse
Jan. 22nd, 2008 09:21 amBesides my Tuesday night Conceptual Physics Lab, I'm also taking the Conceptual Physics Lecture course. The lecture is broadcast on channel 27 three times a week. Today was the first day. Yay for TiVo.
The TV lecturer is the author of the textbook. He's cute. That helps a lot. He also seems very animated, which is much better than listening to a typical, boring instructor. The "one-hour" class was about 37 minutes. Even better. Tomorrow night I go to the classroom for one of its three in-person classes (orientation, mid-term, & final).
I did learn something already: if you get within a million miles of the sun, you'll burn up. Unless you go at night.
