We had another power outage overnight. Steve said that the power went out just after 1:30am. It returned about 4:50am.

Does anyone know a link that shows times and locations for recent SF power outages? On the PG&E site, I found a "current" outages link, but that's not the same.

I wonder if the outage was caused by the same UFO that did the Richmond District blackout last night.

Walkies?

I had a good doctor visit today. I can finally start putting weight on my leg. She wants me to wean myself off crutches in the next couple of weeks. (Then just boot & cane, then just boot, then just comfortable shoes.) I'll have more physical therapy for the next six weeks.

I can now shower. Praise Starbears! (Which was still closed as of 11:15am this morning due to a continued power outage there.)

My return-to-work date is on track for mid-December. The healing process has seemed so slow these past 10 weeks. I'm looking forward to watching that process go must faster now!

Sunday & Monday had me crying.

I'm sure a lot of it was from 10 weeks of gimpiness. Things kinda drag. Being home all the time, I'm getting on Steve's nerves and vice versa. With no [livejournal.com profile] squaredancing as an outlet, things build up.

It was in the back of mind that Sunday was the 20th anniversary of my mother's death. The anniversary thing didn't phase me much until I realized it was the 30th, not the 20th anniversary. Gawd, I'm old.

Then some blog set me off, and it caused even more bickering at home.

Just a buncha crap, plus Steve is having surgery tomorrow morning.

But, the doctor visit today gave me a huge boost. I was beginning to think that I'd never walk again. I've already taken a few steps on my own, and that has been bizarrely exciting. Naturally, I'm sure the ongoing leg limp will be totally hawt. But if it's not in sync with my wrists, I am going to be royally pissed.
