Low-key day today. I just stayed indoors and mostly stayed in bed with my leg elevated.

I haven't been sleeping well. Even with Vicodin, the pain at night is pretty bad. The doctor said that it would diminish. (I'm still waiting!) She later prescribed some Ambien to help me fall asleep. The first two nights I tried it, it didn't seem to work at all. I didn't feel the need to get out of bed, so that did help with the pain. Last night I did get some sleep. Weird dreams, but still the sleep was needed.

Every time I go from prone to upright, the pain is very intense. What can one do while prone?

Steve went out today and picked up an application for me for a Muni Disability pass. I just need the doctor to fill it out. Based on my need for crutches, I shouldn't have a problem getting the disability card for awhile.

Unable to take a shower, I still managed to sit in a chair and clean the shower a bit today. It was grody. Even not taking a shower, I could still see the mildew. I don't think I'll be able to figure out how to vacuum, though!

Tomorrow, I go out to see the doctor and to see the wound for the first time.
