Jun. 21st, 2007 07:04 pmSteve picked up the book for me yesterday.
I began reading it at the bus stop this morning, read it before work, during lunch, and on the bus ride home.
The cute porn guy sat next to me on the bus ride home. With a broken iPod, I wasn't wearing earbuds as usual today.
"How's the new Armistead Maupin book?"
"It's okay. Way better than his last two books. Not as good as Tales. I don't like his style this time of using first person singular."
I got home. I have no clue where my husband is, so I spent the last half hour finishing the book. The last few chapters of the book certainly were better than the first part of the book.
But why the hell did he have to spell it Dubose over and over? That annoyed me.
I prefer the writing style of Tales, but this was still fun to read. And quick.
