Mar. 21st, 2007 05:57 amSome patients need a commode next to their bed at home, as they are unable to travel to the bathroom. To get a commode, a doctor can fill out a prescription slip for the patient to take to a medical supply store.
The call center forwarded the following message to us yesterday:
Prescription: Commode
Patient's spouse is calling about the above prescription. How long should the patient be on that medication?
That gave us a chuckle for a bit. And then again later. My co-worker kept getting interrupted with other things while trying to answer that message.
Co-worker #2: I've been on this commode for far too long.
Co-worker #1: Shit or get off the pot.
