I read on some rumor blog the other day that Tim Gunn will be doing a makeover show this spring, replacing Queer Eye. It also stated that he would not be doing two different shows.

A woman at work today told me that her daughter's friend goes to Parsons. Tim Gunn has left Parsons.

Will PR be any good without Tim Gunn?

EDIT: [livejournal.com profile] smileykiley informs me that Tim said he'd be staying on PR. Hope so!

On Sunday, we slept in. When the busses for Dim Sum started to load up around 10:45am, we got a ride with [livejournal.com profile] bigjohnsf to Canton House. They had parking available in their lot, so that was good. We stood out front of the restaurant for awhile, watching motorcycle cops go by. We decided to grab a table before the IBR bus showed up.

There were some guys upstairs already. As I was chatting with a couple bears, I hear someone call my name. It's [livejournal.com profile] pinkfish. He recognized my picture. He joined us at our table. Besides him, there were 4 other square dancers plus one more person. It was good to eat "real" food. I could have eaten a lot more, but didn't. That's good!

We sat at the table and chatted for the longest time. We finally decided to move the discussion back to the hotel, and John gave [livejournal.com profile] double_ohsteven, [livejournal.com profile] pinkfish, and me a ride back to the hotel. Had a pleasant afternoon at the hotel. Dean helped me with some work-related stuff. Then we caught some sun down at the pool.

[livejournal.com profile] pinkfish left to catch his flight, and I caught a brief nap. Then I went to work my volunteer shift as "Dressing Room Security." They just needed someone back there to make sure no one rifled through the contestants' things. I got to see most of the contestants naked. I love volunteer work. My relief showed up around 9pm, so I left to catch the contest from the other side of the stage. Eh. Staying in the dressing room might have been more fun. Steve Cameron was sitting a couple rows ahead of me, so at least I got to chitchat with him some during a break.

Spent some time in the hospitality suite after the contest, then off to bed.

Monday, I checked out the auction for a bit. Said some goodbyes, then we checked out and caught a taxi home. Had lunch at Sausage Factory, then spent some time at Starbears. Came home, unpacked, and did laundry.

Today was back to work, rested and relaxed.
