One spider, no ants

It was nice to see so many people at yesterday's LJ picnic. dhbearguy captured attendance, and I'm looking forward to having that list posted.

Witten drove me over a bit early to set up. (grizzlyjack graciously gave double_ohsteven a ride a bit later.) There was one couple & a child setting up camp right next to where we planned to be. I quickly put up a table in our spot. Dibs! mh58 arrived a second later to set up another table.

(The couple & child next to us soon became a small gathering, about a third or fourth the size of our picnic. boyshapedbox ventured that it was the "MySpace" picnic.)

qbear warned me that giant spiders would fall out of the trees. No such luck, but soon after he warned me, he flicked a smallish spider from my shoulder.

Thanks to everyone who brought tables! We had enough this year for a change. Enough to hold all the good food, and even one to show off profkampf's Monopolj project.

I forgot to bring Hefty bags this year. Damn!
