Rx for frustration
Sep. 1st, 2006 06:33 pmToday was busy for me at work.
A lot of the day was spent getting pt's prescriptions filled for the long weekend.
If you use Express Scripts for mailing your medicine, DUMP THEM. They totally suck. They make it hairpulling for a provider to get you a refill. I had to deal with them about half a dozen times today for different patients. For one of the patients, I returned the call from Express Scripts, and it took me 15 minutes to speak with 4 different people and then be patched through to voicemail. Express Scripts sucks. Pt refills should take 30-45 seconds.
Walgreens is usually a simple matter. But today I had to speak with some of the clerks at the store on 18th & Castro. That's where I pick up my own prescriptions, so I know how stupid some of those people are. OMG, I never want to speak with Tanisha or Fiona ever again. Stupid fucking turds.
I'm hating some rx people.
Then I had to deal with results for a few patients with lip/gum cancer caused by cigars or chewing tobacco. Cancer sucks.
