Great Vista
Aug. 7th, 2006 06:36 pmMy work sent me to 400 Parnassus today for training. That has got to be one of the best addresses in town as far as views go. (Walk around to the back of the building. Better yet, take an elevator up to one of the higher floors.)
From there you can see the Bay Bridge, as well as downtown buildings such as the Transamerica Pyramid and St. Mary's. You can see straight down Irving Street to the Pacific Ocean. Looking over the treetop-covered Golden Gate Park, you can see the Golden Gate Bridge. Mount Tam was hiding behind some haze. Point Reyes and points further up the coast were visible.
I love my City.
