The Bear Tip was fun, as always. It was a nice full room, and I got to see some skin.
billeyler called some fun and frisky stuff. It's always one of my favorite parts of the weekend.
The LJ Tip was well-attended. There were 4 squares dancing, and several people sitting out. (See a recap of attendees made by
otterpop58.) Andy had some great songs (lyrics in his above recap). It was great to "know" a little (or a lot of) something about each person in attendance from their LJ. It was great to have both
canseefour and
dceder there. I think I've friended or de-friended everyone in there before, or at least read their journals occasionally. I also got to see
deege, with whom I previously had no interaction that I remember. He owes me a C1 tip! ;-)
I arrived for the tail end of the cocktail hour. They had some decent-looking munchies.
dr_scott was plenty horny gave me a horn o' plenty. Lots of mingling and catching up with
excessor.
Dinner was fine. Service was fine. Entertainment (a couple pairs of male ballroom dancers) was fine. Speeches weren't too long. Centerpieces (masks, etc.) were practical, since they can be used for the masked ball tonight. (I'm skipping.)
I have nothing planned tonight. I'm gonna organize my choreo for tomorrow's 5pm C2 tip, then I'll probably just have drinks in the lobby. It's nice to not be rushed.
