Good grief
Jun. 3rd, 2006 08:33 amI verified with my benefits department that my medical insurance kicked in on day one of work. I went in and cancelled my COBRA this week so that we didn't have to pay another $800+ for June.
Not thinking about it, I re-ordered prescriptions yesterday. I spoke with the pharmacy last night, and of course, my old insurance had expired. I don't have the new insurance number. The benefits department at work is closed for the weekend. The customer number at the insurance is closed for the weekend.
I called the help desk number at the insurance company for pharmacists. They actually helped me. Well, kinda. My information is not on the system. I have to wait until Monday to talk to work. I'm pretty sure the pharmacy will sell me a few pills to last me until Monday night.
