Job searching for days on end really sucks. But sometimes there is a bright spot. Today there was a medical job listed that required certain specialized skills, "including semen processing."

Interview at my extern site

Norma called me this morning. She wanted me to come in for an interview at 3:30pm. She called back later and moved it up to 12:30pm.

I got there and saw several familiar faces. They all greeted me warmly. They were excited when I told them I was interviewing to work there. That made me feel good. My interview went fine. I've already worked for Norma, so this was just a formality. It turns out that the job req isn't entirely worked out, but I'm guessing that Norma is pretty sure of it. She told me that she wants to hire me, so I'm guessing the job is mine if it goes through okay.

I'm not holding my breath. I was sure they'd hire me months ago. Still, it was nice to have a very friendly interview and to see some former co-workers.
