Zap, poke, poke, poke, poke
Apr. 6th, 2006 02:50 pmThe spasms in my chest that beleaguered me for over a month seemed to have stopped earlier this week. I didn't think I'd ever get to feeling better.
Today I went in for a chest xray. (To rule out any odd reason for the spasms.) The xray tech gasped for a second after she zapped me. Uh, yes, I have a nipple ring. (I saw the xray, and it showed up nicely!) She had to go consult her supervisor. It was no problem, duh. You'd think she'd be used to it.
I also did a blood glucose test. I had to fast beforehand. They drew my blood, then they gave me a sweet orange drink. They drew my blood an hour later. They drew my blood another hour after that. The last phlebotomist had to poke twice. Grrrr.
Next week is my treadmill test. I'm just happy that I'm feeling better.
