[livejournal.com profile] nakednsf is absolutely right. There ARE more important things than the Oscars. Like where I ate during my quick trip to Hawaii:

1. Wednesday dinner: Late dining at the IMP food court. Horrible, end-of-day chinese. I dumped most of it.

2. Thursday morning: Breakfast across the street from the hotel. $2.25 Pancake breakfast - 2 pancakes, 2 eggs, 2 pieces of bacon. What a deal!

3. Thursday lunch: Times Coffee Shop after visiting the Valley of the Temples. Interesting Roast Pork and Mahi Mahi combo plate.

4. Thursday snack: Shrimp from a shrimp truck! There were about a dozen of these "famous" shrimp trucks along the North Shore. It was yummy!

5. Thursday dinner: Aqua Cafe in the foodcourt. Yummy seafood pasta. Best non-breaded calamari I've encountered.

6. Friday morning: Same as Thursday.

7. Friday lunch: Dim Sum at the Golden Seafood Palace in Honolulu's Chinatown. They were aggressive in putting food on our table. It was hard to say NO. We got lots of food, and the price per person ended up being $6. Really good food for an impossibly cheap price. [livejournal.com profile] albadger noted that they forgot to mark down some of the dishes. But I'm guessing the cheap price and good food is what made the place packed on a Friday afternoon.
8. Friday dinner: Stinger Ray's at the airport. Just some mediocre hamburger with decent waffle fries. I did order a "Tropical Itch" to drink, which included a "free" backscratcher. I'm not sure what that was about. Was I really supposed to break out in hives?
