Sun vs. Fog

Looks like it's going to be a pleasant day for a picnic today. Current forecast is 67 degrees. 67 in SF always feels warmer than 67 elsewhere for some reason. You know it'll hit 70, cuz the SF thermometer can be an overachiever.

Steve was on the phone with Fred this morning, so I drove up to Safeway in Diamond Heights. God bless the slew of my friends who live up there, but I couldn't handle the fog. I could only see a couple carlengths ahead. I know it's beautiful up there when it's clear, but months of fog like this? Eek. I'd be way more of a wreck than I already am. It was amazing to drive back down to such bright sunshine in my neighborhood. Now if I could just get the animated bluebirds to shut their yap.

Food. Yum! Hot Men. Yum!

Despite the mass exodus of people to Gay Day at Disney today, some goodlooking LJ'ers showed up for today's picnic. We even got some sunshine. Folks brought some really good food.

Next year's fall SF LJ picnic is tentatively planned for Saturday, September 9th. Sound good?

The Vicodin seems to be doing its job for the most part. It's keeping Steve a bit woozy. Woozy I can handle.
