Revival Bingo

So I've got my ticket to go to Revival Bingo tonight for the first time in a LONG time. Anyone know what time to get there? What's up with the Beverly Hillbillies theme?

Got $500,000? Oh, and $1.3 million?

I see in today's B.A.R. that Les Natali is finally putting The Patio up for sale. It's been sitting dormant for more than 5 years. It's never been open since I've lived in SF. As he has stated, he'd "rather cater to drunks."

Anyhow, The Patio is a mere $500,000. Oh, and an estimated $1.3M to renovate.

I also saw a few things in the B.A.R. about Dore. One was about the death of that 60-year old. The other article is blasting the organizers for not giving out more info about the death. I saw only one tiny blurb elsewhere that said "Here's a pic of so-and-so enjoying themselves at Up Your Alley." It be nice to see an article about the streetfair itself, but I guess that's what your blogs are for!

Report card results

My teacher is too subjective.

That works in my favor, but it isn't right.

Since I missed 7 key days (out of 20 days) of the last module due to caller school and my arm problems, I had talked to the administrator about retaking it later. She asked me to continue with it. I finished the module, and I aced most of the tests. I just didn't get MOST of the lab work complete, since I wasn't there on those days. I figured that I should get around a 70% if I passed. So what score does she give me for lab? 99.5%. That's really screwed up. But heck, it gets me on honor roll again.

Now I just need to find a boss like that.

B-I-N-G-O yee-HAW

So we went to bingo. Got to sit with markosf and dacubsf, so that made it even more fun.

Tonight was benefitting the gay rodeo, so there were some rodeo guys there. Woof. Instead of BINGO, people had to yell out "YEE-HAW!" I yelled out "YOU WHORE!" to double_ohsteven a coupla times, but I didn't win anything for that.

It was nice to see bearzbub sainted as volunteer extraordairre. "Saint San Rio" is so appropriate!
