OUCH

So my lymph node pain worsened last night. Sleeping was difficult. It got worse today. I stopped by the doctor's office, and he'll be able to see me at 4pm today. The pain is very intense, and I'm unable to lower my left arm without tears coming to my eyes. The swelling continues, and now there is a red mark along the pain line.

Not knowing what it is, I'm wondering if it's something easily dealt with, or if it's something exotic and I'll be admitted to the hospital.

The pain is so bad that I misspelled a word on my terminology test today! Now that's bad! ;-) (There was a bonus word for extra credit, so I'm pretty sure I will still get 100%.) I felt sorry for the girl to whom I gave shots today in lab today. I wasn't too gentle. After my terminology test, I left early.

Okay, off to the doctor!

It wasn't the plague

dr_scott was wrong, it wasn't The Plague. tdjohnsn was a bit closer, but it wasn't aliens.

The short story is that it wasn't lymph nodes after all. I should be pretty much fine by the end of the week.

I picked up some antibiotic and some Vicodin at Walgreens as well as some more bandaging. I went to Starbears while waiting for the scrips. Those Lazy Bear bears are really showing up in droves!

Some Cancellations

I won't be going to school tomorrow. I probably will skip the rest of this week. I'm guessing that the best thing will be for me to repeat this module at a later date.

Gary-aoke on Thursday will be postponed until a week from Thursday.

I have a doctor appointment at 11am on Tuesday, so I might not be at Starbears between 12-1pm to see if otterpop58 shows.

I'll probably attend the FCD intro night, but I won't be dancing.
