OMG, an 84%?
Jun. 9th, 2005 04:03 pmYesterday morning I received back my terminology test score from Monday. I got a 99%. Eek! First time that I received less than 100% on a test in over two months, LOL.
I then took the lecture exam. The score came back as 84%. WTF? I knew I had missed one question, but four of them? I went in at 7:30am this morning to find out what happened. Oh! I actually had correct answers for most of them. That should be a 96%. Several of my classmates won't bother to question their test scores. That sucks for them.
Today was my lab teacher's last day with us. She works nights at the school, and she's taken on a day job someplace else. I'll miss her. She was great at explaining things. Oh, and I was teacher's pet. :-)
Yesterday, the head of the school came into lab and asked to see a student. It was the same student who freaked out about hating doctors, and the one who is a general spaz. Apparently, this student complained big time about our new teacher who started a coupla weeks ago. The new teacher does a few things differently than the current teacher. Just like in real life. Trying to find out what was going on, I heard that this student was trying to get the new teacher fired. Knowing that the new teacher is doing an okay job, I went into the head of the school to let her know that the new teacher is actually doing fine, and I gave some concrete examples. I could have done nothing, but I thought it was appropriate to speak up. That scored major points for me. The head of the school appreciated it. The new teacher's boss appreciated it. I'm sure the new teacher appreciated it, but it's not something we'll discuss. Tactful brown-nosing.
