My landlord is selling this house

Arthur, our landlord, met with double_ohsteven on Saturday. He has decided to sell this house.

I guess there are a few options. He will first offer to sell it to us and the upstairs neighbors as Tenants in Common. Hmmmm. The next option would be to try to sell it to someone who would keep us as tenants. The third option would that someone would buy the place for their own and we'd have to move.

Interesting predicament.

Etiquette question

I got an wedding announcement from my nephew's fiance. The wedding is in July, and we won't be attending.

When do I send a card and their gift? At the same time I let them know I won't be attending? I skipped that part of charm school. (Wait a sec -- I skipped all of charm school. D'oh!)
