Topcats square dancing

Made it down to Topcats last night. My C3A sucked. SUCKED. At least I was exposed to some TANDEM STABLE vs. STABLE TANDEM stuff.

C2 was okay. They switched the rotation from the women finding the man partner to the men finding the woman partner. That didn't work well. Explains a lot about their (in)ability to dance. Some of John's choreo was fun, and I always find his music interesting.

With school, I won't be heading to Topcats on Mondays anymore. It was good to see the people last night. There are some fun people. John & Dolores showed up (D just watched). I haven't seen them in months. D was in my C1 class last year. John showed me some silly styling for Wheel Thru. Glad to see them both.

Now off to my first major test at school. Grrrrrr.

Gold Stars

I left the house at 6am this morning so that I could hang out at the Starbucks at 4th & Mission and study for my test. This being my first test, I didn't know how much to studying was needed. I had done my homework all week, so I just reviewed that.

Turns out I don't need to get up that early. I found out that I aced yesterday's vocab test, then I took 7 minutes this morning to ace today's test.

Typed 70 & 76 WPM for today's two typing tests. Their goal was 15 WPM.

So the tests are easy (my lazy classmates might disagree), but I am learning stuff. Today's biggest accomplishment was securing a locker so that I don't need to lug all my books and uniform home every day.
