I need some humor today. Even a silly joke.

A police officer sees a man driving around with a pickup truck full of penguins. He pulls the guy over and says, "You can't drive around with penguins in this town! Take them to the zoo immediately."

The guy says okay, and drives away. The next day, the officer sees the guy still driving around with the truck full of penguins -- and they're all wearing sunglasses. He pulls the guy over and demands, "I thought I told you to take these penguins to the zoo yesterday?"

The guy replies, "I did. Today I'm taking them to the beach!"

Easy-open tops

I had always figured that "easy-open top" meant "versatile bottom." Nothing wrong with that.

For some reason, I've always refilled my prescriptions at Walgreens by touch-tone telephone. I guess it's because the phone number is printed on the bottles instead of the website URL. This time, I went to the website for refills. Entering 12-digit script #'s via the phone for 5 scripts is cumbersome, so I embraced doing via the net. I also requested a PIN so that I can just point & click for future refills.

One of the options on the website was to get the prescriptions in bottles with easy-open tops. Yay! When I picked up the prescriptions last night, I was surprised to see that many of the bottles had the regular caps on them, but they were turned upside down and screwed in that way. D'oh! Wish I had figured that out sooner.

It's official, we are going to Canada

Plane tickets, hotel room, and car rental have all been arranged. We depart for Vancouver on November 23rd.
