No square dancing

I last danced on Monday, and that was some pretty limited Mainstream (lowest level) dancing. I don't square dance again until next Monday evening. I'm having withdrawals!

I spent last evening putting away my laundry that Steve had done all day. Did some stuff online and watched some TV. Earlier I had run into xlgmeat, ricksf, and drewbearsf near Starbears. Steve was away for some evening meeting. He got home and we played a game of Scrabble before I went to bed.

Got up this morning and used the hot tub for the second morning in a row. Sure is a nice way to start the day!

I was scheduled for oncall next weekend, but we'll be at Lazy Bear. I had to switch oncall with a co-worker. I hate doing that. (They apparently had changed the oncall dates recently.) I'm still not excited about Lazy Bear, but I'll make the most of it. After all, lowfatmuffin has given me an assignment to do, so at least I have a reason to go (other than to appease double_ohsteven). Due to Lazy Bear, I'm missing a square dance callers workshop. (The date for that was also last-minute.) Grrrrrr. A few blowjobs at LB might make things better, mmkay?

Raffle sales at convention

Rusty from ECR was in charge of Saturday night's raffle sales to benefit next year's convention. He really organized it well. Inseam measurements were available, but for the same $10, you could opt instead to get 50 tickets that had been pre-measured. This made sales go quickly. Rusty had runners going out and collecting the money and other half of the tickets from those selling them. The quality of the raffle ticket strips was bad, in that they didn't tear at the perforation very easily. You never know on these things until you've already purchased the rolls.

My co-seller was excessor. Gawd, he makes me laugh. Even all his weight loss doesn't make him less jolly. Bastard!

It was nice to volunteer for something that was so well organized, have fun doing it, and feel appreciated.
