Rainy Friday, nothing much
Dec. 20th, 2003 11:54 amLeaving work yesterday at noon was a good feeling. Leaving work on Fridays is always a good feeling, but with no work really outstanding, and not going back until the 29th, it is especially nice.
Strolled through the Castro on the way home. Woofy guys were out and about. Got home and tried to plink out "I'm Not That Girl." Bits are easy. Others may take me some time. I'll get it.
Steve finished getting ready, and we went out to The Cove for lunch. I made him take an umbrella, "just in case." Then we went to Under One Roof. Returning, we ran into Kevin & Josh from WSD. Then to DYMK for a birthday card, then to Starbears for some java. Some cub there was cruising me. I haven't been cruised by anyone in months. Another good thing on a Friday.
We headed home, and it was raining pretty hard. Got home and played Scrabble. Steve took a nap for a couple hours, and I rested for a bit. I wish I could doze off as easily as he does.
I intended to hit the Lone Star last night. But with the rain, it just felt like a good night to stay in. I reheated some leftovers, and we played a few games of Scrabble. Headed to bed around 11pm. God, I'm getting old.
This morning I packed for our Las Vegas trip. We get there Tuesday morning and leave Thursday evening, so there's not much to pack.

bowlerbehrsf's party. I still have no clue what to wear. The invite said "clothing optional." Maybe I'll just take him up on that and opt out.
