Work, Dancing, Eggs
Dec. 11th, 2003 10:29 amI had an install on Tuesday night that seemed to go ok. It was for an on-request job, so I really couldn't check results too much until the user ran the job. He did that this morning, and things look good so far. Without a proper test platform, I always get nervous about installs here.
My boss asked me to submit a work request on behalf of our group. I gathered the information from the group, then submitted the request. Meanwhile, the director and a co-worker meet with someone and get the issue resolved. The director then asks why I submitted the request. Gotta love the abundance of communication here.
Got home and Steve was feeling a bit better. Good boy. We played Scrabble, and I boiled some eggs to devil them later for today's potluck at work.
Steve stayed in, and I went to club night for Midnight Squares. With 13 people, they alternated A2 and C1 tips. That worked out well. It was my first time to dance to Richard Tuck. He was a lot of fun. For the first A2 tip, he played "Man With The Bag," which put me in a good mood for the rest of the night. Larry & Don gave me a ride up 18th Street, so that was a good thing.
Got home and played a game of Scrabble with Steve, then we watched South Park. I then went to peel the eggs. Oops. Oh yeah, peel them SOON after cooking them. I ruined most of them, so boiled up a bunch more. I peeled them and put 'em in the fridge. I finished making them this morning. The potluck starts at 11am, so I'm off to that shortly.
