Bear dinner

With no other plans for a change, we went to the BOSF dinner last night at the "Thai Hop" on Market at Sanchez. A dozen or so guys attended. Stephen sat next to Double-0-Steven. Turned out to be the Stephen that biggerzbetter mentions. He looked familiar. I had met him last year at IBR on the Alcatraz trip. He was hanging with the very fun Chesapeake Bears.

At the other end of the table was someone I hadn't met. I introduced myself to Troy after dinner. He lives near us on Douglass. He has a friend who recently moved into the mansion, but he wasn't sure which apartment. From the description, I'm pretty sure his pal lives in my old apartment. Small world.

Bear lunch

It was a chilly bear lunch today. Noel showed up in a prison orange jumpsuit with "Sex Offender" stenciled on the back. Good one.

Large member

The gay group at work was supposed to have elections during October. I submitted my interest in being a "member at large." I received a congratulatory email today. Seems that anyone who posed interest is now on the committee. No elections needed.

The first meeting is in a couple weeks. From 4pm-6pm. GRRRRRRR. Oh well. It'll show initiative when I'm looking for work.
