Aida packs a dance
Aug. 10th, 2003 02:50 pmCaught Caltrain to Steve's after work on Friday. We drove to San Jose after dinner to see ( Aida. )
I spent most of Saturday ( packing )
Saturday night we took a break from packing and went to ECR's square dance. Eric Henerlau was the caller. Eric called pretty fast, so I just stuck to the "girl" role. Had a good time. The dance was supposed to end at 10:30pm, but they ended early. Most people had left by 10pm.
Junior sang in churh this morning as cantor as well as for the special music. He sang well, but he wore that silly garanimals outfit again. What is she thinking? The service was moving today. Mostly because two members died this week. One was Jack, whom I didn't know. His partner and his partner's family were at the service. Another person who died was H'amy from the evening service. She had been missing for a few days, so some friends went to look for her out near the beach where she hangs out sometimes. I guess they found her body and it looked like some horrible accident or something. No details. H'amy volunteered a lot with me during the early days of Resurrection Bingo (now Ba-Da-Bingo). H'amy also had a CD of her music. She also helped put together a chick-track parody called "The Sodomite." I have a copy of that on my desk at work. Read it here. She was in her early 30's. Rest in peace.
