Sunday classes
Mar. 22nd, 2004 09:07 amI spent Sunday morning going through t-shirts. Having so many, they often get put away haphazardly. I need to take about a dozen for my upcoming square dance weekend in San Diego, so it was also a chance to pull out appropriate ones. Having just gone to the fly-in in Seattle a week ago, I can't wear all the exact same shirts again, obviously! I still need to put away the rest of the shirts tonight.
The A2 square dance class was okay. Peggy called Motivate a couple times during the first tip, and I'll be damned, the square didn't break down. They were very hesitant, but they got through it. Whew! Wonders never cease. Peggy finished up the last of the calls, so now it will be review for the class the rest of the time. Great! They definitely need it!
Peggy called one angel tip. All of us were C1 level or higher, except for Felix. Peggy called C1, and queued Felix through the half dozen C1 calls she used. That worked well.
The C2 class was good. We were one shy of two squares, so one square used a phantom for about 4 tips. I had been in the non-phantom square, so I ventured over to the phantom square for the next tip. I do okay with phantoms for the most part, but it sure makes it harder at C2. During the middle of that tip, Neale arrived and replaced the phantom. Cool.
The new calls were fine. Those damned Cross & Wheel calls from the class I missed last week burned me nearly every time. Other than that, I'm feeling really good about the calls. I'll be missing class again this week due to the San Diego. Just more studying to do.
