Tuesday work
Mar. 17th, 2004 10:10 amYesterday I checked my calendar and realized that my bi-weekly one-on-one meetings with my boss had turned into WEEKLY meetings. Two-on-one meetings, with her and Gizelle. At 4-fucking-30pm. Grrrrrrrr.
Work was busy yesterday. Got some projects moving. Found out that my co-worker whose vacation was posted on the group calendar last week had provided the vacation dates last week. I provided dates last month, and they've yet to show up. More ammo. The senior programmer in my group had given me a "frozen" project a couple weeks ago where I just needed to run daily reports until it was installed. At the last minute, he found a discrepancy and postponed the install. I told him that I got in trouble for that, and he was amazed. It was his fault, but they didn't even mention it to him. Grrrrr.
My two-against-one meeting was okay. They used the T-word again. My boss did ask some friendly questions about seeing me work the table on Monday for the Gay group at work. I had done it during my lunch, so it was easy enough to explain. She seemed interested, but her boss was like, "It's not interfering with your work, is it?" Um, no. B.
