Busier workdays

fuzzygrufThings are getting busier at work. Makes the day go by faster with less time to think about impending termination.
I did get 5 assignments that are easy as pie. These type of requests are recurring, so that will up my stats. Why didn't my boss give me these previously???? B.
All of the management staff in my area was gone yesterday. Got more done than usual. Figures.
At lunch I got an Access 97 for Dummies book. I used Access ages ago, but not recently. The job for which I'm interviewing tomorrow requires Access, so hopefully things will come back to me,
My boss was on the phone Tuesday when I showed up for my one-on-one. From the one-sided hushed conversation I overheard, I deduced that Ben, our lone contractor, had found a permanent job elsewhere. I asked him about it yesterday. Yep, he sure has. With the projects he has, it couldn't have happened at a much worse time. That made me chuckle.
