I forgot about Split screens until I accidentally got one today and had to find out how to get rid of it. Figuring that out helped me see that split screens could be useful.
Go to cell where you want split the screen. In the View tab, click on Split in the Window section. This lets you scroll through different parts of the worksheet. This works vertically and/or horizontally. Just like in real life.
A similar option is nearby: View Side by Side. This lets you view two different worksheets, similar to split screen.
To view different tabs in the same workbook, in the Window section click "New Window" and then "Arrange All."
