Saturday FCD Harvest Dance

fuzzygrufThe Mike Kellog dance was good. There weren't any Mainstream dancers there right at 7pm, so he started with Plus. Then he went on to do an A1 tip before doing Plus again.
A few Plus students from Western Star showed up. I think I saw Joe try to convey to Mike a list of Plus calls that the Western Star students haven't learned yet so that they could dance the Plus tips. enhydrasf, so I'm not sure how that went. Fine, I'm sure. I sat out a couple tips later. Josh & Kevin are fun dancers to watch.
Mike even called a couple of C1 tips. I went there expecting only MS & Plus, so that was a great surprise. Yay!
My nemesis, Liz, was there. We rib each other constantly. It's great! She's so much fun.
Arthurcornered me in the Boys Room and demanded that I blog something nice about him was there and danced divinely.
I danced withricksf a couple of times, with pseudocub1 watching from the sidelines. Got to also dance with dhbearguy. Naturally, I danced with excessor, my Sister In Christtm. Paul makes me laugh so hard. Um, yes, I was laughing with him. Mostly. Got bigs hugs and chatted with handlebear. I saw tardis watching the Advanced tips intently. I can tell he'll be a star student in the A class. Danced in a square or two with tecwizsfo.
Boy, these lj-user tags are gonna get a workout once the current FCD class finishes. At least six of the students are on LJ.
Nice to see Darren Galena there. He was pushing a new fly-in in San Luis Obispo over President's Day weekend. They're gonna have a party bus from San Francisco (and one from LA) so that people don't have to drive. What a great idea! Hope it works. Of course, it conflicts with IBR and with the East Coast A&C weekend, but more power to 'em.
The dance was fun. Had some fun tips, and got to see some fun people. I even got to give some good raffle ticket.
