Don't quote me on that

I had to go to some more research workshops for school yesterday. The librarian was demonstrating how to limit search results using quotation marks. It was a boring class until she got unexpected results.

The searches she used were

"Diego Rivera" (With quotes)

and

Diego Rivera (Without quotes)

So why does the search with quotes get over a million more results?

Castro weenies

"San Francisco could have a world class Halloween."
--Bevan Dufty
, Supervisor, District 8

SF Supes approve special events permits tsar.

I've been trying to figure out a "persuasive" topic for speech class. Halloween in the Castro is controversial in the City and among my friends, so that's something I'm considering.

Looking to see if any current progress is being made for this year's Halloween, I stumbled across the above article that was posted this week. Dufty got the approval for the tsar position he's been wanting to create.

I really don't know what to make of the new SF tsar position. I do know that Tsar Nicholas II of Russia was pretty hawt. That part sounds good.
